Fashion designer Pamella Roland of Grand Rapids turned the "red carpet" green Sunday night at the Golden Globes 2013.
On a night where everyone asks, "what are you wearing?" the fashion designer -- whose office is based in New York City, and who is better known locally as Pamella DeVos -- was happy to hear her named called out three times:
• "Access Hollywood" reporterShaun Robinson was stunningly beautiful in a strapless emerald green pleated chiffon and beaded evening gown.
• Actress Jacki Weaver of "Silver Linings Playbook" turned heads with her flashy green silk chiffon gown with ruched bodice.
• And Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas wore a strapless, sequined chartreuse-hued Pamella Roland gown. Critics loved the dress, but were not as excited about her bangs.
Pamella Roland of course tweeted all of the photos on Sunday, and even wrote a blog about all of the attention today.
"All three ladies looked incredible in their respective pamella roland looks. We couldn’t be happier to see them walk the red carpet," the blog said.
Pamella Roland, who launched the Pamella Rolland Collection in 2002, has designed for many celebrities over the years such as Carmen Electra, Christina Aguilera, Christie Brinkley, Tyra Banks, Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere.
